Activities
Various Activities were conducted for the students at the beach. The students played a game of 'Langdi Tang' a typical Indian game that involves hopping on one leg. A word game was conducted to familiarize students with basic words of the Dutch and Indian language. The session ended with an exciting Tug of War.
I feel like the activities on the beach were amazing! Besides the fact that I like sports, I found it nice to play the Indian game of 'Langdi Tang'. I think through these games you really get to know each other, and we made new friends! I liked the soccer game the most. Because everyone was involved and I know for sure almost everyone had a great time.

It was a pleasure having the Dutch students here. On the first day of school all of us were taken to the well known 'Juhu Beach'. We played various games and interactive activities. It was the best way to know each other better. I was more comfortable in talking and interacting with the group after our visit. All of us had a great time.

I really enjoyed our two art workshops at Podar School. The art teachers were very kind and explained everything clearly. The first art workshop was glass painting. We got a white box and a design. First we had to draw the design on the box, then we had to outline the design and after that we could paint the insides. I had lots of fun and it was nice work to do. The second workshop was on Madhubani painting in which we had to paint a drawing of Lord Garnesha. This painting would be the front page of a new binder we got. It was fun to do and I loved the result.

On our last day of school, we had a yoga session. I was really looking forward to this because I was curious about this lesson. At the start of the lesson, we had to get used to the way of sitting and all the different positions. So well, we giggled a lot…However once we got used to the 'asanas' (exercises) I found them very relaxing. This was indeed very good and calming. I enjoyed it a lot, it was a nice experience.

Visits
As part of an educational trip the Eumind students and teachers were taken for a Heritage Walk around South Mumbai to educate them about the city's architecture and Heritage monuments. Educative and imaginative, the walking tour highlighted the vast range of architectural styles, planning elements and ornamental details, tracing the social and cultural history of Mumbai.
The teachers visited Smart Eco Park followed by a trek to Karla caves. These caves are a complex of ancient Indian Buddhist rock cut cave shrines near Lonavla. These were developed over the period from the 2nd century BC to the 5th century AD.
The Eumind team including the host families, students and teachers visited The Elephanta Caves located on Elephanta island in Mumbai Harbour. Apart from the learning the enthusiasm and the involvement of the host families made it a memorable experience.
